1.Get over my best friend’s brother.
2.Remember that I’m over him.
3.Prove I can date other people.
It should be easy.
Setting up a dating website with the guy I’ve been in love with since I was five wasn’t my smartest idea.
Especially since he’s my best friend’s brother—thankfully, she’s okay with the fact I’m pulling a Sandy and I’m hopelessly devoted to him.
Which is why it’s time to get over him.
So I do something crazy and ask Dominic Austin to find me a date. He does—if I find him one, too.
Since we own Stupid Cupid, it should be easy, right? And it is.
My date is perfect. His date is perfect. Everything is perfect.
Until he kisses me…
And a big-ass mess…
“I don’t want to stop fighting with you, Chlo. If we stop fighting, it means we’ve stopped caring, even about the little things.”
I just cannot get over how much I enjoy Emma Hart’s books and now I can officially add The Dating Experiment to another great book by her to my list. Because this book was an amazing story of friends/enemies to lovers with witty, sarcastic banter all throughout the book that kept me laughing and wanting more. It flew by seriously fast because I couldn’t put it down for the life of me!
Chloe and Dom have known each other since they were little- in fact Chloe’s best friend Peyton is Dom’s sister. And they both have feelings for each other that they can’t quite seem to express, so the logical answer is to of course set each other up on dates. THANK YOU BABY JESUS this was finally the straw that broke the camel’s back and allowed them to grow a pair and let each other know how they really feel.
I understand Chloe’s hesitation as to wanting to be with someone that isn’t oil to her water- I really do! I love how strong and independent she is, but I think what I loved most was how once Dom explained everything, it was like running through the sprinkler on a hot afternoon— it just made sense!!
Emma’s books definitely have the funny factor going on, I love her style of writing, and I seriously flew through this book. I really have had an attachment to these two since I read her first book so I was extremely happy to get to see both sides to their story. I highly recommend you read this book (of course read the others first too!) and you will laugh and fall in love!
By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies—usually wine—and writes books.
Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.
She likes to be busy—unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.
