Review: A Slippery Slope by Tanya Gallagher

Title: A Slippery Slope

Genre: New Adult Romance

Author: Tanya Gallagher

I absolutely adored A Slippery Slope! I loved the story, I loved the characters and I love the fact that Natalie Bloom is one bad ass boss lady!!

Natalie has just had to move back home thanks to a cheating boyfriend and finds herself in a place that many of have been before- not really sure of where to go from here and working a dead end job that isn’t really doing what you love. Upon returning home though, she sees Jackson- the guy that was her best friend before leaving and that the guy that broke her heart before leaving. Natalie is used to running away. She just proved herself again to never face her problems. But now that she has returned home, she needs to face life and figure out what she wants out of it, and who she really wants to be with.

I love the chemistry between Jackson and Natalie. I love the back history of them, and I loved how they have both found themselves in this slippery situation (literally) 😉 The story is funny and there were many times I was dying laughing. All of the characters make up important parts of the book. Just picturing each scene in my head made me want to keep reading and she what other kind of mess she could get into.

I give this book 4 stars because I really did enjoy this nice refreshing and light-hearted read. It kept me intrigued enough to want to know what happened, was funny as all get out, and at the end of the day worked out the way I wanted it to. There was no major twist or anything surprising, but that is ok- it didn’t need it! I would read another book by Tanya and would recommend this book to anyone who was looking for a friends to lovers/enemies to lovers type book. Great job!
