Review: My Week with the Bad Boy

Title: My Week with the Bad Boy

Author: Kennedy Fox

Genre: Romance, for mature audiences only

Never trust a man who answers the front door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk.

That should’ve been my first sign.

I write about guys just like him for a living—sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic fuckboy.

And I want nothing to do with that.

Writing romance novels comes with its perks—traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head—but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges all my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you.

One week is all it took. One week to realize that not everything is as it seems.

One week with the bad boy, and I wanted more.

**This is a complete STANDALONE novel—filled with plenty of humor, steam, & romance! 18 & up only due to explicit sexual content, language, and adult content. Previously published under Brooke Cumberland & Lyra Parish.*

This was such a fun read that I enjoyed. It had some parts in it that definitely lurked at your heart strings and the banter between Ethan and Veda often left me giggling because boy could she hand it to him! I thought they were super cute together, they rocked each other’s worlds and also had fun doing it. Their chemistry was immediate and the mature scenes did not disappoint – fan me off and cool me down WHEW!

It’s always interesting to me when writers write about writing in their books. I guess it’s because I have always wanted to write something but never felt like I had to the background or patience to work through the process. I enjoy this mainly because I get a sneak peak into their world!

Ethan is exactly what Veda needed and he definitely brought inspiration to the table if you catch what I mean 🙃. But behind that bad boy attitude is still a human being that needs more Veda more than he ever thought he could.

This book is the first book in a series of books that will be put out as “Bed Time Stories” from Kennedy Fox that can be read in one sitting and provide you with some hot juicy moments – trust me on this!

Because it was a fun and light read for me I will give this a 3.5 star roasting. It was a great book and will definitely be reading other bed time stories and you should too! I am so happy to have found this author.

Have you read My Week with the Bad Boy? If so what did you think? Have you read any other Kennedy Fox books?
