Kulti Cover romance genre forbidden loveTitle: Kulti

Author: Mariana Zapata

Genre: Romance, mature scenes only at the end

“Destiny is a ladder, a series of steps that takes you where you’re supposed to go. I am the man that I am, and I have done the things that I’ve done to get me to you.”

I loved how MUCH backstory there was- from the time she was a little girl, incidents in her teen years and then ultimately her finding him again, but this time as her coach. There was so much history given, it is impossible for you to not fall in love with this book. I thought this book was the ultimate tease! It seemed like the wait was never going to end! The author did a great job with all of the characters though, and there was tons of descriptive narrative that made you feel like you could be right there with them. You felt pain when she got hurt and celebrated when they won! There were so many times I caught myself smiling from all of the banter between the two main characters.

I am not going to lie, sometimes this book made me mad because I though enough already, but then I wouldn’t have gotten the great story that it was. It was a little hard to get into, mainly because it was a lot of backstory and events leading up to their relationship. I am not sure if it was just my copy but there were certain parts of the books that seemed to need some editing and formatting.

At the end of the day, I wanted nothing more than to keep reading about Sal and Reiner and was even surprised at my disappointment for it ending. I caught myself thinking about it whenever I wasn’t reading it. So I would definitely recommend you getting this and adding it to your TBR list!

I give this book a 4 star rating and would recommend you go out and get it today!
